Many people only seek a chiropractor when neck or back pain becomes severe or chronic. Chronic pain often persists until treated and usually does not respond fully to pharmaceuticals. Fortunately, Breaux Bridge LA chiropractors offer non-surgical, non-invasive treatments to help you regain comfort and return to your daily activities. Breaux Bridge Chiropractors Treat the Cause, Not Just Symptoms
Chiropractors identify the root causes of your pain and create a personalized program to restore balance and relieve discomfort. Unlike medications that only mask symptoms, chiropractic care addresses underlying issues. By correcting deep imbalances in muscles, ligaments, and tendons, your pain often decreases significantly and may even disappear.
Since 80% of Americans experience back pain during their lifetime, you are not alone. If you experience shooting pain in the lower back, or difficulty standing or sitting, it may be time to schedule a consultation. Stretching your soft tissue structures can also improve posture, strengthen your upper body, and enhance spinal mobility.
3 Stretches to Help Relieve Back Pain
Check with your chiropractor before attempting any of these exercises.

- Position yourself on hands and knees with knees slightly wider than hip-width apart.
- Turn toes inward and gently push hips back toward your heels.
- Extend arms forward fully and let your head rest in a relaxed position.
- Repeat 4–5 times slowly.
2. Knee to Chest
- Lie flat on your back with legs straight.
- Bring one knee toward your chest until you feel mild tension.
- Hold for 10–20 seconds, then release and switch legs.
3. Supine Hip Flexor Stretch
- Lie flat on your back on a bed or elevated surface.
- Hang one leg off the edge without flexing.
